Applicant Day

Applicant Day

Choosing which university to go to is a big decision and one that needs careful consideration. Attending an Applicant Day is an important part of the decision making process and will give you a real insight into the university, your course, the staff and the students – information that will help you make an informed decision on where to study.

Our Applicant Days are designed to provide this information by offering a taste of what you would experience as a student when you enrol with us. They typically include a sample lecture and tutorial that you would undertake as part of your course. In addition you will have the chance to meet your lecturers and ask them any questions that you may have about any aspect of your course at Glamorgan. You will also be given the opportunity to attend interactive sessions with current final year students to talk to them about their experiences.

Throughout the day you will also find out more about the added value of being a student at the university, including the cutting-edge research being undertaken by staff at the university and how it informs our teaching. You can also discover how your career prospects will be enhanced, what opportunities are available to develop your employability skills and the types of support accessible to you during your studies.

Please note that attendance at an Applicant Day is strictly by invitation only.
