Even though the Treforest Campus is the original home of the University, it has outstanding new facilities in many shapes and forms.
The campus is host to the University’s Aircraft Maintenance Centre, complete with Jetstream 31 plane and flight simulator. Other Advanced Technology students benefit from The Cube, the rigging platform for our lighting and live event students. These students also benefit from the only WYSIWYG lab outside London, which means that they can produce
real simulations of lighting effects to present to clients.
The Collaboratory is a new learning space, designed by Glamorgan students. There are white walls, mock interview/boardroom environments and creative learning spaces. This is housed in the Glamorgan Business School, but all students may be taught in here.
Law students benefit from the Moot Court Room where students can hone their advocacy skills in a realistic environment and build confidence in a courtroom setting.
Art Practice and Foundation Art students have a wide range of studio facilities, including photography, printmaking, ceramics and 3D.
