- Entry Requirements:
Applicants must have an undergraduate qualification acceptable to the faculty where they want to study for their postgraduate award. Students usually need a level of English equivalent to at least IELTS 5.0. On successful completion of the PMP, you have the right to progress automatically to your chosen programme of study.

About this course
This course is for international students who want to study a postgraduate course at the University of Glamorgan or another UK university, but who need to improve their academic English skills and adapt to a new culture.
On this course, you can study your subject area through the medium of English before you start your higher degree. By the time you graduate you will be familiar with UK university life, its academic requirements, and unique teaching and learning approaches. This is a University-wide programme that will prepare you for study in all academic areas.
This course is co-ordinated by staff in the English Language for International Students Unit, who have many years’ experience working with international students. Applications for the PMP will be considered by the PMP Award Tutor and the Admissions Tutor of your chosen subject area.
