We understand that many people who embark on postgraduate or professional study have other commitments in their lives. So our postgraduate schemes are flexible, allowing you to study what you want, how you want, so your study fits the way you live.

You don’t have to join a postgraduate course immediately after completing your undergraduate study. The University welcomes those returning to study after a period in employment or raising a family.

Postgraduate teaching is informed by an emergent research portfolio, which includes specialist projects in collaboration with some of Europe’s leading experts and companies.

The strength and significance of our research is illustrated by the excellent outcome of the Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) 2008.

Masters courses are modular, so you benefit from a flexible approach allowing you to choose from a wide range of options to complement your main subject area. Courses will take 12 months to complete full-time and between two and three years part-time. Study is a mixture of lectures and seminars followed by a dissertation or project.

Applications to part-time and full-time postgraduate courses are made direct to the University of Glamorgan and applications can be made throughout the year. The application forms are in the left-hand menu on this page.
